Meet Dr Makem!! Dr Makem has known Drs Mehaffey and Heller for a very long time, and we were delighted to add her to our team in 2019! She attended Moravian College for her undergraduate degree, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. She loves general practice and the challenge of internal medicine cases! Though she is a small animal veterinarian, she also loves the sports medicine aspect of general practice, and that probably stems from her love of riding horses and showing competitively with them! She has 3 horses – Bit, Sadie, and Gracie, and two pups – Huey and Apollo. She spends her weekends with family, showing her horses, or taking hikes with her boys!
